Session Three

Learn how to create a supportive service budget utilizing CSHs supportive service budgeting tool that is tailored to the IRISE Initiative. Also, use the time tracker to harness real time information on how much time your front line staff is dedicating to travel and direct service; utilizing the time tracker to create an accurate IRISE service budget.

Session Four

Learn how to create policy and procedure requirements as a Kentucky 1915 (i) RISE service provider, as required for submission to the 1915(i) RISE certification process. Become familiar with important policies and procedures needed for Medicaid compliance generally and review key components of compliance and HIPAA best practices for policies and procedure-writing

Guidance from KY DMS about the Home and Community Based Settings Rule:   The HCBS Settings Final Rule establishes requirements for the qualities of settings provided under section 1915(c) of the Medicaid statute. The final rule requires that all HCBS settings meet certain qualifications.
